Evaluation Question 3
The video above shows my groups response to evaluation question 3, the screenshots from our project are from my final edit of the project.
Evaluation Question 6
Our opening sequence used so many different tools. from using websites like blogger too using premiere pro without these programmes we wouldn't have been able to make out opening sequence to the quality it is.
One element I really enjoyed making was our Production companies which where made our mental skills in order to come up with a production ident which was suitable for our genre (thriller) and also something that was aesthetically pleasing for a viewer to watch. also we had to use editing skills on premiere pro, one example was to make the image you chose move or change colour, we made our image rotate and we added a sound which was a gun shot and from this our name which was Full Calibre which took a lot of brainstorming and thinking techniques to come up with.
I enjoyed the long process of editing trying to make it to the best quality it can be. the simple skills I've learnt like cutting and moving clips to the more advanced like using effects and cutting music to the beat so it goes well with a video, these skills will be very useful for the future as next year we will be creating music videos using these programmes. One aspect we used that worked well in our opening sequence was voice overs, we done this on premiere pro using the microphone built in to the computer. The editing process allowed us to develop our sound, camera work and of course editing skills.
For our project we wanted to use a soundtrack to create a atmosphere within our piece using programmes like YouTube really gave us a problem because of copy right protection laws, for instance there was a track we wanted to use by a famous artist but we was unable to, this caused problems so we had to find a different source like Freesoundmp3.com. this was also apparent with sound effects so Youtube was not a good source for us to use, However we used a track that was on the desktop that worked really well called: Not a chance.
This was where we found the track.
This is where we used the track in our project.
Because of technological covergence we could use site like blogger this gave us a efficient way to present our works using all different types of media from prezis to videos. This is the one way youtube came in handy through uploading videos and being able to embed them to our blog. This gave me a platform to formally show and talk about elements of my work and use external sites to present my work in a better way on blogger.

Evaluation Question 5
Age
We used many ways to address and attract our audience some examples where through age. Our characters in the film where of a young age and as our target audience is between 15-30, the characters where in the same age range in order for people to relate and enjoy the film more. The use of terminology really helped the audience enjoy the film as they where able to relate and understand what the characters where saying.
Here we see two of the main characters and they look relatively young the helped attract the audience we where targeting.
Genre
We also attracted the audience through the choice of genre, Through extensive research analysing opening sequences of other thriller films it gave us a understanding of what a thriller film included and the type of sound, camera shots and editing they use. from watching films like Taken and Gone Girl well known films with actors like Liam Neeson we where able to take ideas and make our own twist on the genre.
Location
Again slang is a big factor of why we would be targeting local audiences, people from England would relate to it more than a person from Spain as the way people converse is different and the slang that young people use is different, as well as this if a person is familiar with the surroundings in the film (setting) it would interest them because they can relate to it this really helped us attract our audience as they wanted to watch a film that they are familiar with the location and the surroundings. I mentioned this in a recent post because feel its relevant to this subject as well.
